Dennis is the EY Global Blockchain Tax Leader. He focuses on tax implications of blockchain and digital assets as well as Web3 and the metaverse. He leads the Metaverse Tax Center of Excellence in Amsterdam, the Netherlands.
He is a senior research fellow for blockchain and tax at the University of Amsterdam. Dennis serves as a co-chair of the Tax Working Group at Global Digital Finance and is the Regional Ambassador for the Netherlands for the GBBC.
Dennis holds a PhD in Fiscal Economics from the University of Amsterdam and a Master’s degree in both Tax Law and Fiscal Economics from the Rijksuniversiteit Groningen, the Netherlands. He has published several books and articles in international tax magazines and is a frequent speaker at international events and congresses.
