Sankar is a managing director at Ernst & Young LLP, leading the artificial intelligence (AI) services offering. He brings over 25 years of experience at AI-driven startups and consulting transformations. He previously was an entrepreneur and worked as a leader of advanced analytics and innovation groups.
Sankar is a seasoned entreprenueral leader who has participated in all waves of AI commercialization starting with expert systems and the current wave in foundational models. He also focuses on analytics data transformation using big data and cloud data platforms. Most recently, he has been focused on the vast transformation potential of Generative AI and Foundational Models.
Having begun his career as an entrepreneur, Sankar has extensive experience in inventing, commercializing and delivering innovations to customers. Sankar holds seven patents, an author of blogs (twitter handle @DataDig) and has also published articles in referred journals.
Sankar received his MBA from Carlson School of Management, University of Minnesota, and was a special graduate student at MIT.
